Coventry Greyhound Group is made up of people from across the Coventry and Warwickshire area who own, or who promote ownership of, ex-racing greyhounds and other sighthound breeds.  We meet up for monthly dog walks, enjoy social events, dogs shows and meet online at Coventry Greyhound Group Forum  .  There is no 'membership' - anyone can join in.  Why not register on the forum and find out more?

Meet up at the main car park near the Newbold Leisure Sports Complex 10.45 am for an 11.00 am start.

All welcome - with or without dogs (or even with non-skinny dogs!)

If you'd like to be added to our email listing for walks and other things of interest to greyhound-lovers, send your email address to: admin@coventrygreyhound.org.uk or telephone 07806 226508.

Exact meeting place to be confirmed, but will be 10-45 am for an 11-00 am start

 Sunday 13th July 2008

One for your diaries!  Kenilworth Dogs Trust combined open show and greyhound/lurcher show.  Come and meet up at this event!

We are not a rehoming charity and therefore do not have greyhounds needing homes.  However, we do provide lots of information and links to rescues and charities who do have many hounds which need rehoming.  Read all about them at: Coventry Greyhound Forum

One such rescue is Greyhound Gap.  They always have hounds in foster homes looking for permanent homes.  For details and information on their rehoming criteria, visit the Greyhound Gap Website.

There is no 'official' membership of the group - just join in!  To find out more and receive our regular email updates, contact Heather at admin@coventrygreyhound.org.uk

Our Mission Statement

Coventry Greyhound Group aims to educate the public about the plight of ex-racing greyhounds and working sighthounds and encourage people to adopt these most wonderful creatures.  The Group also exists to help those who own greyhounds by providing information, medical advice, feeding suggestions and support in times of illness.

The Group undertakes the following activities:

  • raising money for local and national greyhound rescues
  • organising monthly dog walks within Coventry and Warwickshire
  • providing a forum for greyhound owners to meet and chat
  • highlighting dogs needing homes within the area

If you would like to make a donation to Coventry Greyhound Group, you can do so via PayPal.  The PayPal email address is:  admin@coventrygreyhound.org.uk

Thank you
